At fourteen, Nick Gautier thinks he knows everything about the world around him. Street, hard and smart, his sarcasm is fast stuff of legends. . . Until the night that his best friends try to kill him. Saved by a mysterious warrior who has more fighting skills of Chuck Norris, Nick is known in the realm of the Dark-Hunters: murderers immortal vampires who risks everything to save humanity.
Nick soon discovers that the human world is only a veil for a much larger and more dangerous: a world where the captain of the football team is a werewolf and the girl who is in love goes out at night to shares of the undead. 
But before he can learn the rules of this new world, their peers become flesh eating zombies. And he's next on the menu.
As if starting high school was not enough ... Nick now has to hide his new friends of your mom, saw the director, and keep Simi zombies and the devil eat the brains, all without getting grounded or suspended. How the hell is supposed to do that?
